Field Technician – Agricultural Operations

Location: Merced / El Nido, CA / Fresno / Madera

Position Overview

DCB Farming is seeking a reliable and motivated Field Technician to support our agricultural operations in the Merced and El Nido area. This position plays a key role in day-to-day field activities with a strong focus on water treatment, irrigation support, and material transport. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-minded, and comfortable working independently in field environments while reporting directly to the Irrigation Manager.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee and assist with water treatment systems in agricultural field operations
2. Support irrigation operations and report directly to the Irrigation Manager
3. Transport water treatment materials, chemicals, and supplies to various field sites
4. Monitor field conditions and assist with troubleshooting irrigation and water-related issues
5. Safely operate trucks and equipment used in field operations
6. Ensure proper handling, transport, and documentation of regulated materials
7. Perform routine field checks and assist with maintenance related to irrigation infrastructure
8. Maintain accurate records of materials transported and work performed
9. Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and agricultural compliance requirements
10. Work collaboratively with farm management and field crews to meet operational needs

Requirements & Qualifications

1. Valid CDL required
2. Hazmat endorsement required
3. Experience working in agriculture, irrigation, water treatment, or related field operations preferred
4. Ability to safely transport materials to and from agricultural field sites
5. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
7. Ability to work independently and follow direction from management
8. Good communication skills and dependable work ethic
